How to Request Foreign Qualification for Your Business Entity

Foreign qualification allows your business to legally operate in states other than your state of formation. This guide walks you through the complete process.


​Prerequisites: Active company profile and login credentials


Step 1: Access Your Company Profile

  1. Log into your account at app.flpraservices.com/login

  2. Select the company you want to qualify by clicking on the company name


Step 2: Navigate to Foreign Qualification

Click on the "Compliance" tab in your company profile

Click the purple "Foreign Qualification" button to open the modal


Step 3: Select Your Target State

  1. Use the search box to find your target state

  2. Type the state name or abbreviation (example: "Florida" or "FL")

  3. Select your desired state from the dropdown list

Note: The system excludes your state of formation and already qualified states.


Step 4: Choose Your Qualification Status

You will see the question: "Is your entity already qualified in [State]?"

Option A: Already Qualified

Click "Yes, already qualified"

Enter your qualification date

The system creates annual report compliance items

Option B: Not Yet Qualified

Click "Not yet qualified"

Proceed to Step 5 to choose your approach.


Step 5: Choose Your Qualification Approach

Self-Managed Qualification

Best for: Businesses handling their own qualification

Click "I will do it myself"

  1. A tracking task is created automatically

  2. You receive confirmation

Professional Assistance

Best for: Businesses wanting expert help

  1. Click "Get a quote"

-> Fill out the contact form:

  • Name: Enter your full name

  • Email: Enter your email address

  • Subject: Auto-filled with request details

  • Message: Add any specific requirements

-> Click "Request Quote"


Step 6: Track Your Request

  1. Go to the "Tasks" section at app.flpraservices.com/u/dashboard/tasks

  2. Look for tasks labeled "Foreign Qualification"

  3. Monitor progress and updates


What Happens Next

Self-Managed Requests

  • Tracking task created

  • Qualification marked as "pending"

  • Email notification sent

Professional Help Requests

  • Quote request task created

  • Email sent to specialists

  • Response within 24-48 hours


After Qualification:

  • Update qualification date

  • Mark task as complete
